What Focal is

Focal is a tool for reading, organizing, and speed-reading text — saved links, imported documents and PDFs, articles, and public-domain books.

Your content

You are responsible for the content you save in Focal and for having the right to use it. Focal organizes and displays content you provide or choose to import.

Provided "as is"

Focal is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Third-party links and documents

Focal does not control external websites or documents. We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or legality of any third-party link or external file you load.

Acceptable use

You must not use Focal for any unlawful purpose, or to access or distribute content you do not have the right to use.

Your local data

Focal stores your data on your device. That data may be lost if you delete the app, clear the app's data or your device storage, or if your device is damaged or lost. Keep your own backups of anything important.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version will always be available in the app and on this site.
